Setting up the daily digest email

The digest is optional and configured on Settings → Digest (admin only), so nobody walks into the huddle flat-footed.

SendGrid must be configured first

If the page shows SendGrid as not configured, digest emails can't send yet — that's set up separately by copying config/sendgrid.example.json to config/sendgrid.local.json with a real API key and verified sender.

Recipients

Add or remove email addresses under Recipients. Anyone listed there gets every scheduled send.

Content and subject

Check any combination of Overdue tasks, Due today, and Binders not yet submitted/reviewed to control what the email includes. The Subject field supports a {period} placeholder (e.g. the default "PACE huddle digest — {period}"), filled in with the open period's label, or "No open period" if there isn't one.

Send schedule

Add one or more named schedules under Send schedule, each with a send time (HH:MM) and optional days (0=Mon…6=Sun; blank means every day). Toggle a schedule On/Off or Remove it. A background check runs every minute and sends automatically when a schedule is due.

Send a test now

Type an address under Send a test now and click Send test to fire an immediate copy to just that address, without waiting on a schedule.
