Getting access to PRISM

Signing in through Nexus One is all it takes to open PRISM and launch reports — there's no AD group and nothing extra to request. Every signed-in user sees the report launcher.

Admin pages are separate

Audit Log, Manage Reports, Security Status, and Data Sources are limited to PRISM admins. Admin status comes from a PRISM "Admin" grant in Nexus One's Credentials area — contact an administrator to be added there. There's nothing to request inside PRISM itself.

PRISM used to keep its own separate admin list. That's gone now — only a Nexus One Credentials grant counts, even if you were on the old list.

If you were just made an admin and still don't see the admin pages

Entitlements are only checked on a fresh login. If you were already signed in when the grant was added, sign out of Nexus One (which signs you out of every app at once) and sign back in.

What access does not control

Being able to open PRISM or see a report link doesn't guarantee you can open the report itself — that's a separate check. See "Why can't I see a report I'm expecting?" and "Launching a report sent me to a Power BI sign-in or 'access denied' page."
