Security Status and Data Sources pages (admin)

Security Status

The Security Status page shows whether Module/Level filtering is turned on. It's either Filtered (narrowing what each user sees, based on their Spectrum Module/Level access) or Unfiltered (showing every active report to every signed-in user, with a banner on the launcher warning that filtering isn't configured yet).

When Filtered, this page also shows connection details, how long results are cached before PRISM refreshes them automatically, and how many users currently have cached results.

Refresh Security Now

Click this after the underlying Spectrum Module/Level data changes and you need PRISM to reflect it immediately, rather than waiting for the normal cache window to expire. It clears every cached lookup — the next request from each user, and this page's own tables, pulls fresh data.

User Access Levels

Further down, every user's Company/Module/Level combination is listed and searchable by username, company, or module. Use this to check exactly why a specific person can or can't see a given report, by comparing their level here against that report's required Security Level on the Manage Reports page.

Data Sources

The Data Sources page is a reference map of where every number on PRISM's other pages actually comes from — the report catalog, the Module/Level security data, company display names, and PRISM's own locally-stored audit log, favorites, and hide/description overrides. Use it when you need to explain to someone else where a figure originated, or to confirm something is purely cosmetic (like company display names) rather than something that affects access.
