Launching a report sent me to a Power BI sign-in or "access denied" page
Clicking Launch → on a report doesn't open anything inside PRISM — it logs that you launched it, then sends your browser straight to that report's actual Power BI paginated report page.
Why you might hit a Power BI login or access-denied screen
PRISM and Power BI check access separately. Being signed into PRISM and seeing a report in the list only means PRISM's own Module/Level filtering let it through — it doesn't guarantee Power BI will let you view the report itself. If Power BI prompts you to sign in, or shows an access-denied message, that's Power BI's own report security, not a PRISM problem.
What to do
- If you get a Power BI sign-in prompt, sign in with the same account you use for the rest of the suite.
- If you get a Power BI access-denied message, that report's Power BI permissions need to be granted separately — that's not something fixable from inside PRISM; it has to be handled on the Power BI/report side.
