Access PULSE

Getting access to PULSE

PULSE uses two separate layers of access, and you need both before you see real data.

Layer 1: base access (Nexus One Credentials)

Sign in through Nexus One, then you need a PULSE grant in Nexus One's Credentials area — either User or Admin. Without this, PULSE treats you as not signed in at all. Contact an administrator, or use Request Access from your Profile page.

Layer 2: Access Groups (PULSE's own)

A Credentials grant alone doesn't show you any data — PULSE separately assigns Access Groups on top, which decide which pages, companies, business units, and margin levels you actually see (Financials, Employee Hours, AP, AR, Inventory, Credit Card, and a "Full Data Access" option that grants everything). Get an Access Group two ways:

Admin role

Checking Admin on Request Access (instead of User) automatically grants Full Data Access once approved, on top of anything else you picked — admins don't need to also pick every individual group.

If you were just added and still don't see anything

Entitlements are only re-checked on a fresh login. If you were already signed in before the change, sign out of Nexus One (which signs you out of every app at once) and sign back in.
