Understanding PULSE's Access Groups
Each Access Group grants a fixed set of pages, scoped to specific companies, business units, warehouses, or margin levels depending on the category. Your overall access is the union of every group you belong to — more groups only ever add access, never take it away.
Categories
- Financials — Dashboard, Details Matrix, Actuals vs Forecast, Weekly Actuals vs Forecast, Ops Statement, Contract Detail, Total Job Hours, Direct EE Hours, Report Binder, Executive Binder, Accrual Logs, Estimate Overview. Scoped per company code (or "All"). One option, AP Entry (Write Access), additionally grants AP Log Entry and View JE — different pages than the rest of the category.
- Employee Hours — Rev / Labor Hr, Vacation, Overtime, Under 40 / Over 60, Timecard Approval, Approval Timeliness, Approval Times, HCSS Insights. Scoped per company (and, for some companies, specific business units).
- AP — Invoices In Review, AP History. Scoped per company.
- AR — AR Aging, Cash vs Revenue, Comparison, Reports. Scoped per company.
- Inventory — Inventory, scoped per warehouse (or "All").
- Credit Card — Credit Card, Flags, Trends. One option (Viewer), all companies.
- Full Data Access — every page, every company, every business unit, every warehouse, every margin level. This is what an Admin-role request auto-grants.
Margin levels
Financials groups also carry a margin scope (which of gm/idoh/vec/sga you see on Ops Statement). The Allow SG&A option is an add-on — it doesn't grant any pages on its own, it only widens the margin levels of a Financials group you already have.
Numbers instead of names
Company and warehouse codes show as just the number (e.g. "111") in the picker — the number is what actually identifies it once you know which one it is.
