Previewing another view with Act as (admin)

PULSE's admin panel has a 🎭 Act as (preview) section (Admin → Settings) that lets an admin temporarily simulate what a chosen set of Access Groups would see — the nav, pages, companies, business units, and margins — without needing a real test account in that exact state.

Using it

Pick one or more groups and click Act as selected. PULSE now shows you exactly what someone with only those groups would see, across the whole app, until you clear it.

Clearing it

Use the clear option in the same panel to return to your own real access. This is a local simulation only (a cookie in your own browser) — it never changes anyone's actual access, and other people signed in at the same time are unaffected.

What it's useful for

Confirming a newly-configured group actually grants what you intended, before telling a requester it's ready — much faster than waiting for them to log in and check themselves.
